First opening our doors 52 years ago, we’ve had the opportunity to meet and photograph many of the friendly faces of Macclesfield! Our studio has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and many loyal clients who return for our signature style of natural, close-up portraits. Anyone who has been to the studio knows that we have the skill and experience to bring out the best in every face.
Ollier photography is now run by Matt and Joe. Matt, who worked with Brian for many years, picked up his signature style of portrait and how to get the best from every face. Joe is Brian’s youngest son and has been working in the family business for almost 10 years.
Brian had such a passion for photography at an early age that he turned his hobby into a profession.
The studio has had various names and locations over the years, starting on Brook Street it was opened in 1964 by Brian, 19 at the time. Brian and Margaret opened a new studio on Sunderland Street in Macclesfield – Times Studio.
Then the studio moved to Mill Street in Macclesfield, an old derelict dye works which was converted into a state-of-the-art Studio – Brian Ollier Photography.
In 2013 the studio moved to Queen Victoria Street – Ollier Photography.
