Ollier Photography first opened it’s doors in 1964. Since then, we’ve developed a huge archive full of Macclesfield history. From the ever changing town itself, to the cherished memories of the people of Macclesfield; our catalogue of photographs is endless.
Recently, we’ve had a great opportunity to delve into these archives for a very special occasion.
A trip down memory lane:
Previous customers frequently contact us to find out whether or not we still have their negatives to hand. More often than not, we are able to locate them quickly and book the customer in to review the images.
In 1967, Ollier Photography’s founder, Brian, photographed a lovely couples wedding. The couple recently celebrated their 50th anniversary and wanted something special to commemorate it, a book full of their wedding photos. When they rang up asking about the images, we were able to locate them and scan them into the computer; ready to be viewed by the customers on a large screen.
Next, Ollier Photography got to work with designing and creating the book. This can require time to clean up the negatives digitally and explore different ideas. Finally, once the design was approved by the customers, the book was printed.
Here is the final result!
We loved sharing this trip down memory lane with the customers and hope that they are very happy with their revived wedding photos. Ollier Photograph would like to give a huge thank you to them for letting us share their memories with all of you; we hope you enjoyed seeing them.
